We understand the frustration caused by delays in receiving exam results, awaiting a visa, and other external factors when applying to study at a college/university. That is why we are introducing a later enrolment option – to increase flexibility and alleviate the stress and disappointment that comes with missing an enrolment deadline.
When are the additional intakes?
The first additional intake point will be in October, giving students applying for the September intake an extra four weeks to enrol.

Can any student join in October?
These additional intake points (October 2026 and February 2027) will be available only to students enrolling on International Year One programmes. The October intake is not available to students enrolling on Foundation or Pre-Master’s programmes.
Should I join in September or October?
When you submit an application for International Year One, you will be able to select either a September or October enrolment period. We advise that, in the first instance, all students should aim to join KUIC in September, as this remains one of our primary intakes. If you do experience a delay in your admissions process, we will automatically defer your enrolment to October.
Can I choose to join in October rather than September?
If you would prefer to enrol in October, you can select the October enrolment period. However, if you are then delayed, we would need to defer your offer to the January intake.
If I join in October, will I have missed over a month of classes?
No. If you join the additional intake in October, you will attend the same amount of classes as students starting in September. We are working with our Director of Learning & Teaching on a staggered approach to delivery, which will mean that students starting their classes a month later will simply finish a month later.
If I join in October, will my progression be delayed?
There will be no delay in your progression. If you join KUIC in October, you will start your second year at the University at the same time as those who join us in September.
