Support and Advice

Page Section

We understand that moving abroad to study in the United Kingdom is a big step. It may be the first time away from your family and your first time in a new country. That’s why we’re here to support you.

KUIC Support Services

One of the benefits of the Keele University International College (KUIC) experience is a softer landing in the UK. We are here to help you settle in and familiarise yourself with living in the UK.

As soon as you arrive, we will provide support and guidance on the following:

  • Accommodation
  • Public transport
  • Timetables and classes
  • Creating a UK bank account
  • Registering with the doctor
  • Joining clubs and societies

Keele Support Services

You will have access to the University’s central support services from day one, including:

  • Disability support and inclusion
  • Financial support
  • Counselling and mental health
  • Residence life (accommodation)

Whatever support you need, we are here to help. The Student Services Hub is based in Claus Moser, in the centre of campus. There is also a Student Experience and Support team based within every Faculty, offering one-to-one support.

Student Assistance Programme

In addition to all other support services, you will have access to a free 24-hour confidential helpline and app Spectrum.Life. You can talk to an experienced advisor/therapist via phone or WhatsApp and receive friendly, non-judgemental support.
