This accessibility statement applies to kuic.keele.ac.uk.

This website is run by Keele University International College. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

Some links have the exact same link text, so people using screen readers face difficulty accessing information. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 2.4.4: Link Purpose (In Context). We aim to train our content team and fix these by 31 March 2024.

Our videos on the website are hosted on YouTube, and Vimeo; but some of these may not have captions. This doesn’t meet WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.2.2 Captions (Pre-recorded).

Some PDF documents may not be fully accessible to screen reader software.

What we’re doing to improve accessibility

We quarterly conduct comprehensive assessments of the entire website using the third-party tool SiteImprove. SiteImprove enables us to pinpoint non-compliant content and provide us with specific details on fixes.
