Keele’s School of Computing and Mathematics conducts internationally recognised research across cutting-edge topics such as evolutionary robotics, smart energy, machine learning and AI. As well as 200 PCs, the School is also home to a high-spec gaming lab and a dedicated VR lab.

With a degree in computer science or mathematics, you can pursue a variety of analytical and tech-focused careers. Mathematics graduates can enter versatile roles such as Data Analyst or Risk Analyst, while Computer Science graduates often fill specialist roles like AI Engineer, Software Developer, or UI/UX Designer.

Industry-standard Facilities

The School of Computer Science and Mathematics houses seven computer laboratories containing around 200 desktop PCs. Every PC has the current hardware and software needed to complete all computing degree modules and provides both Microsoft Windows and the Linux operating system. You will also find a dedicated VR lab and an Overclockers gaming lab with high-spec gaming equipment and peripherals.
