We understand that delays can happen when applying to study abroad. These delays might be caused by late exam results release or slow visa processing. But with Keele University International College (KUIC), you don’t have to put your plans on hold. We are extending our enrolment period for September 2026, enabling you to arrive and enrol as late as November.

Remember! Whether you arrive and enrol in late September or late November, you will still progress to your second year at Keele University in September 2027.

International Year One

Our two-semester International Year One programmes will equip you with the skills you need to succeed on your chosen Bachelor’s degree at Keele University. You will study eight modules, each designed to support your transition to university-level study. For example, the ‘English for Academic Study’ module will help you develop your essay-writing skills and reading for research.

  • Partial and Progression Scholarships
    Receive an International Year One Scholarship worth £2,000 when you enrol at KUIC. You will also qualify for £3,000 upon successful progression to Keele University, and a further £3,000 for each subsequent year of your degree.

  • Global Summer Award
    During the summer months of July and August, we offer increased scholarships across our programme portfolio – some worth an additional £2,000 – to be applied exclusively to enrolments in September and October.

  • Start Smart Package
    Our Start Smart Package (in partnership with UniKitOut) combines tuition and accommodation fees, plus an optional airport pick‑up service and starter essentials, as a single package – providing a saving of up to around 15%.
