We understand that studying abroad is a significant financial commitment. We want our programmes to be fully accessible, which is why we offer a range of fee discounts.

International Scholarship Awards 2024-25

This scholarship is for international students starting a full-time course at Keele University International College (KUIC) in January or May 2025. The award entitles students to a discount on the cost of their tuition fees for the first year of study. The discount is applied upon enrolment.

How do I apply?

*International Scholarship

This is issued on a first come, first served basis and is only applicable to students who have paid their deposit (at least 50%).

**Early payment discount

This is an extra £500 that we can offer to any Foundation or International Year One student who pays their full tuition fee before 31st December 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this KUIC Scholarship, you must meet all of the following criteria:

  • You must have received and accepted an offer to study KUIC in the current or upcoming academic year.
  • You must have overseas international student status and be paying overseas international rate tuition fees.
  • You must have paid at least 50% tuition fee deposit to KUIC.
  • You must be a self-funded student applying for a full-time course.
  • Government sponsored students are not eligible.

Keele University Progression Scholarships

This scholarship is for students who successfully complete their KUIC programme and progress onto their degree at Keele University.

Undergraduate

Foundation

Students who successfully complete the KUIC Foundation will qualify for: £5,000

International Year One

Students who successfully complete the KUIC International Year One and progress to Year Two of their undergraduate degree at Keele University will qualify for:

  • £1,000 (for final scores of 60% – 69%)
  • £2,000 (for final scores of 70% and above)
Postgraduate

Pre-Master’s

Celebrate our 75th anniversary with our enhanced scholarship for enrolled international students who’ve excelled in the KUIC Pre-Master’s programme.

Students who have achieved the following average scores will automatically be awarded the scholarship as a tuition fee discount:

  • 70% and above – £5,000
  • 60% – 69% – £4,000
  • 50% – 59% – £3,000
How do I apply?

KUIC students will automatically be considered for a Progression Scholarship when they progress from their KUIC programme to their Keele University degree. You do not need to submit a separate application for an award. 

This scholarship will align closely to the conditions outlined in the University’s Undergraduate Global Scholarship and Postgraduate Global Scholarship.
