Every PC within the School of Computing and Mathematics has the current hardware and software needed for all modules on the degree programme and provide both Microsoft Windows and the Linux operating system.
There are dedicated teaching facilities for postgradute students with a wide range of equipment. The purpose-built computing labs are open 24/7, and include a Gaming Lab and a MakerSpace, with 3D printers and VR headsets.

- Several collaborative projects with industry partners, including a Knowledge Transfer Partnership with the global automotive company, Bentley Motors Ltd.
96% of Keele graduates were in a job or further study within six months of graduating (DLHE, 2017).
With the IT sector still growing faster than the rest of UK economy, but presenting significant shortage in specialised skills, graduates face no difficulty in reinventing their career, with potential employers including companies as diverse as Apple, BAE Systems, Barclays, Bentley, CapGemini, EA Games and the Ministry of Defence.
The School has helped numerous graduates from a range of science and non-science disciplines to successfully transition into careers in areas such as Data Science, Web Development, Software Engineering and Computer Science PhDs.
