One semester Pre-Master’s leading into taught postgraduate degrees in subjects such as cybersecurity, computer science and artificial intelligence. Please note that the Pre-Master’s in Computing is only available in January 2023.

At Keele, you will acquire the skills that employers demand in the computing and IT sectors across the globe and become familiar with the most recent software engineering techniques. With a broad focus on the core competencies for the design and management of information systems, our course will make you a skilled professional, ready for a career in industry or research through applying your learning to real-world problems.

This is a one semester programme, preparing you to progress onto Master’s study at Keele University. One offer will be issued, covering Pre-Master’s and Master’s study.

Facilities

Every PC within the School of Computing and Mathematics has the current hardware and software needed for all modules on the degree programme and provide both Microsoft Windows and the Linux operating system.

There are dedicated teaching facilities for postgradute students with a wide range of equipment. The purpose-built computing labs are open 24/7, and include a Gaming Lab and a MakerSpace, with 3D printers and VR headsets.
