As the climate crisis continues to be one of our most urgent global concerns, Keele is dedicated to sustainability and environmental research. They were one of the first UK universities to declare a climate emergency, and aim to be carbon neutral by 2030. In 2021, the University was named Global Sustainability Institution of the Year (International Green Gown Awards).
